Hit the trail! Attend each annual wine trail event to taste the delicious and diverse range of featured wines throughout the year, all paired perfectly with local seasonal bites, and experience the beauty of Old Mission Peninsula in every spectacular season.
May 18, 2019 - 10am-5pm. Bring on spring! Relish samples of new release wines from each of the ten wineries, as well as spring’s arrival to beautiful Old Mission Peninsula, commemorated with seasonal food and wine pairings and other activities, like winemaker chats and winemaking tours. You will also receive a special commemorative wine glass! Tickets: $30 in advance / $35 day-of event.
Rosé Between the Bays
June 8, 2019 - 10am-5pm. New in 2019 - a celebration of the quintessential summer wine: Rosé Between the Bays! This event showcases the many diverse and delicious pink drinks produced by the ten distinct Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula. A perfect way to welcome in the summer in one of the most breathtakingly beautiful areas of Northern Michigan. Tickets: $45 in advance / $50 day-of event (if available).
Great Mac & Cheese Bake-Off
November 30, 2019 - 10am-5pm. Ticket sales begin October 1, 2019 at 9am. America’s favorite comfort food gets an upgrade with help from celebrated Northern Michigan chefs. Top local restaurants each partner with a winery to create a perfect mac & cheese and wine pairing. Participants get to vote for the best pairing, cheesiest, and people's choice. Tickets: $50. Advance purchase only.
Winter Warm Up
January 18, 2020 - 10am-5pm. Shake off the chill of January with the Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula’s Winter Warm Up. You’re invited to taste your way through the trail, stopping at ten distinct wineries featuring seasonal comfort food small bites from local restaurants paired with unique wine offerings. You’ll leave this event with a cozy-glow, full belly, and special souvenir mug. Tickets: $30 in advance / $35 day-of event.
Romancing the Riesling
February 15, 2020 - 10am-5pm. C’est l’amour – of all things Riesling, that is – at Romancing the Riesling held each February around Valentine’s Day. This annual event celebrates "the grape that defines white wine" and the varietal for which the Northern Michigan wine region is best known. Attendees are invited to visit the ten distinct Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula to taste it's top Rieslings - of which recent awards include best in the world, and scores of 93+ points from other highly respected international reviews! Tickets: $30 in advance / $35 day-of event.
